Utah Jazz power forward Carlos Boozer,?playing in what may be his best stretch in a NBA uniform scored a game high 26 points, to lead Utah over the Philadelphia 76ers 106-95, Wednesday night. Boozer sealed the win with 12 of his points coming in the fourth quarter, as the Jazz came back from a 2 point deficit after the first quarter to take the game.
Boozer, who has really been the heart and soul of the Jazz so far this year, went 12-17 from the field, 2-2 from the line. He also had 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal. What ever Carlos is not accomplishing for Utah, then point guard Deron Williams is! Williams scored 15 points, had a game high 15 assists, and 4 rebounds. Ronnie Brewer scored 19 , Mehmet Okur scored 16, and Paul Milsap had another nice night off the bench with 10 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.
The Sixers led the?game at the end of one 27-25, but fell behind 49-44 at the half. They were always in the game technically but they never really seemed to mount a threat until late in the game but by that time it was to little too late. Andre Iguadola led Philadelphia with 20 points, 6 rebounds 4 assists, Andre?Miller scored 16 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds. Louis Williams is a young guard for Philadelphia, to keep on the lookout for. The third year player who just turned 21, on October 21, is having a nice season so far off the bench and this game was no exception. Williams scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, in about 22 minutes of playing time, he looks like a keeper! Willie Green and Samuel Dalembert?each had 11 points for Philadelphia , Dalembert had 6 boards. Sixers fall?to 4-10, while Utah is now 11-5.
