The Seattle Post Intelligencer reported Saturday that Seattle SuperSonics center Robert Swift will?remain on the inactive list for the next four weeks. The paper reports that the 22 year old 7′1″ center is suffering from tendinitis in his knees as well as plantar fasciitis. Swift had off season surgery on his knee which is believed to be the cause of the tendinitis.?Plantar fasciitis is pain felt in the underside of the heel, it can be caused by too much wear and tear, obesity or problems with the support from your shoes. Swift said to be 245 pounds at 7′1″(and it must be when he is soaking wet) is far from even chunky, never mind obese. But the other two factors could be part of the reason. Team medical experts are taking the conservative approach right now prescribing rest. Swift has played in only 5 of Seattle’s 16 games this season.
