Reports State Marbury’s Father Passed Away During Knicks Loss

The Associated Press reported late Sunday night that New York Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury’s father Don Marbury had passed away during the Knicks loss to the Phoenix Suns Sunday. The Knicks Media Relations Director Jonathan Supranowitz, said that Mr. Marbury was not at MSG during the game but the team had no other information on the cause or exact time of his demise. Marbury had lost an Aunt, one of his mother’s sisters last month. The New York point guard was escorted out of MSG.
