Kevin Garnett led five Celtics players in double figures with 22 points, as Boston rallied from a first half deficit Wednesday night to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 113-103. Sixers point guard Andre Miller led all scorers with 26 points, and a game high 12 assists, while Andre Iguodala scored 24 points in the loss. Philadelphia actually had a better shooting percentage from the floor (55.7% to 52.6%) but Boston made up the discrepancy by overpowering the Sixers in three point shots. Boston went 10-22 from outside the arc, as Philly hit just 4-14.

The Sixers outscored Boston in the first quarter 32-26, and had a 57-52 lead at the half. But Boston came out of the locker room with an adjustment in their game plan, and had control of the game by the end of the third quarter. Boston got some key help off the bench in the two veterans, who have seemed to have found good fit in Boston, Eddie House, and James Posey. Posey shot 6-9 from the floor, and 4-6 treys, for 17 points, while House shot 5-10 from the field, 3-7 from outside the arc for 15 points. Garnett along with his 22 points had a team high 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, Paul Pierce had 19 points, and tied Miller with 12 assists, and Ray Allen scored 12 for Boston.

Andre Miller deserves better than at this point of his career to be stuck with a team in rebuilding mode (Danny Ferry, are you reading this?) Miller could take a team like a Cleveland and make them one the league’s elite teams. Miller went 10-16 from the field, and hit 6-7 from the line. Another young man on the Sixers that I am impressed with each time I see is Louis Williams who scored 18.Center Samuel Dalembert, had 13 points and a game high 9 rebounds, and Willie Green scored 10 in the loss. Boston now has a NBA best record of 15-2, they are on pace for a 73-9 campaign. Considering the NBA?record for wins in the regular season, is 72-10 set by MJ and the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls it is highly unlikely they can keep this pace up all season. Philadelphia, is now 5-13.

Early Comparisons in H.S. to Allen Iverson for LOU.
If he had played 1 year IN College HOOPS he would’ve been a Lottery Choice… not a 2nd Round Selection.

Louis Williams ~ Is a Gilbert ARENAS Type Player.

Flat-Out Scorer with some size @ the 2-guard position.

With the ROCK In His Hands now with PHILLY, you’ll be seeing that more & more because he is their 2nd option in scoring and I see him developing into an All-Star SG in the next year or two…
