Celtics Rip Raptors 112-84

Kevin Garnett led five Boston players in double figures with 23 points, as the Celtics toyed with the Toronto Raptors Friday night 112-84. Boston now 10-0 at home this season, is off to it’s best start in 23 years, they began the 1984-1985 12-0 at the old Boston Garden.
The Celtics dominated this game from the jump as they took a 27-16 lead after the first quarter, and increased it to a 62-40 lead at the half. Boston shot 52.7% from the floor as they went 39-74 for the game. Boston then took away any last hope by the?Raptors as they outscored them in the third quarter 29-15.
Garnett shot 9-13 from the field 5-6 from the line for his 23, and had 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 blocked shot, and 1 assist, playing less than 25 minutes. In fact?no Celtics starter played more than 29 minutes. Paul Pierce scored 18 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocked shots 1 steal, Ray Allen and Eddie House each scored 13, and James Posey had a double-double with 10 points 10 rebounds. Anthony Parker?had a game high 13 points for Toronto, while T.J. Ford, Joey Graham, and Juan Dixon each scored 12. Boston now has a league best record of 16-2 while Toronto is now 10-10.?
