Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James

The Cleveland Cavaliers will have to do without forward LeBron James a bit longer; the Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that James will miss his fifth consecutive game when the Cavaliers visit Charlotte to take on the Bobcats Saturday. James is trying to recover fully from a sprained left index finger which he suffered during a Cavs’ loss to the Detroit Pistons on November 28.According to the Plain Dealer, James said that if it was the playoffs, he would be in the lineup; however, James prefaced that statement, saying that he wants his finger completely healed before returning to the court. With James out of the Cavaliers’ lineup, the team has lost all 4 of their games and 5 straight. You have to like James’ optimism, as he told the Plain Dealer, “Teams better get their wins now against us. They’re talking trash against us now because we have guys out. But when we get our guys back, it’s going to be a different story.”
