NBA Suspends Horford For One Game

The NBA League Office announced Thursday, that Atlanta Hawks rookie forward Al Horford has been suspended for one game for comitting a Flagrant Foul Penalty Two Tuesday night in Atlanta’s loss to the Toronto Raptors. Horford caught Toronto point guard T.J. Ford?flush in the face with his hand, at which point Ford fell backwards landing on his head. Ford who had spinal surgery which caused him to miss the 2004-2005 season, was taken off the court on a stretcher. Ford has made a full recovery, and will return next week to playing. Horford will serve his suspension Friday night as Atlanta faces the Detroit Pistons.
