Pistons Bobcats Pull Off Trade

The Charlotte Observer Saturday morning, reported a trade between the Detoit Pistons, and The Charlotte Bobcats. Charlotte gets veteran center Nazr Mohhamed, while Detroit in return get center Primo Brezec,and forward Walter Herrmann. Bobcats coach Sam Vincent has been asking for a quality big man all season long. The Bobcats signed restricted free agent Anderson Varejao a restricted free agent to a 3 year offer sheet, Cleveland matched the offer and Andy is now back with the Cavaliers. The move does two things for Charlotte, number one it allows them to move Emeka Okafor to the power forward position in the starting lineup. The other benefit is it now opens up a roster spot for the Bobcats. Herrmann, and Brezec’s contracts both finish at the end of the current campaign.
