J-Kidd’s Triple-Double Leads Nets Past Warriors 100-95

Jason Kidd had the the 94th triple-double of his NBA career as the New Jersey Nets held off the Golden State Warriors Saturday 100-95. Kidd scored 15 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds, and 1 steal, Richard Jefferson scored a game high 31 points, as New Jersey held on for the win.
The Nets opened up a 27-17 lead at the end of the first quarter, and led at the half 52-45. New Jersey led by 8 points, at the end of the third quarter, 80-72, but Golden State came roaring back in the final period to grab the lead at 95-94. The Warriors would not score another point, as Vince Carter hit a trey to put New Jersey back on top 97-95. Kidd scored the games last 2 points at the line.
Jefferson shot 10-14 from the floor, 11-19 from the line for his game high 31 points, he also had 5 assists, 3 rebounds. Vince Carter and Josh Boone each had double-doubles, Carter scored 23 points, 12 rebounds, 6 steals, 4 assists. Boone who is in second year in the NBA, scored 19 points, a game high 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block.
Golden State had all five of their starters in double figures, led by Stephen Jackson, 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, Monta Ellis scored 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal. Andris Biedrins, who has a good season so far as the center for the Warriors, had a double-double, 16 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist. Baron Davis scored 15 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 boards, 1 steal, and veteran Al Harrington scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist. New Jersey is now 12-15, while the Warriors are 15-12.
