Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson had a very impressive game against the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday as the Warriors defeated Cleveland 105-96. Jackson shot 10-19 from the floor, 2-5 from outside the arc, and hit 7-7 at the line for 29 points, he also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, in the win. However what makes it even more impressive, according to the Contra Costa Times Jackson did all that on a hyper-extended knee. He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Warriors loss to the New Jersey Nets Saturday night. Jackson though even though he was one hurting cowboy, bit the bullet and played in the game. Jackson told reporters after the game in Cleveland, “I wasn’t feeling too good this morning, and I couldn’t even bend it. I’m going to pay for it, but winning this game, going home 3-2, it’s going to take a little bit of the pain away. We didn’t want to come home with a loss.” Jackson will have two days to rest, as the Warriors next contest is Wednesday.
