The Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday that Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady is suffering from an inflammation of his left knee tendon, which was the reason that McGrady missed games last week. McGrady had a MRI exam on Monday and it showed that there was no structural damage to the troublesome knee just swelling. McGrady told reporters Sunday that he is doubtful that he will be able to play in the Rockets next game this Friday in Memphis. McGrady is listed as day to day by the team. Houston has a 13-15 record, and are in fourth place in the NBA’s Southwest Division, 7 games behind first place San Antonio, and 4.5 games ahead of fifth place Memphis who have a record of 8-19.
