Knicks Uncertain On Marbury’s Playing Status

The season of discontent, grows a little stranger every day for the New York Knicks. The latest question is the playing status of starting point guard Stephon Marbury for Wednesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic.?There have been conflicting reports in the New York tabloids, Tuesday the New York Post said that Marbury would be in the starting lineup against Orlando. Later in the day, the New York Daily News reported,?Marbury did not make trip to Orlando, and would not be playing. Marbury has had a?very rough time in the month of December. His father passed away on December 2, and Marbury who was quite close with?his dad, took the death quite hard.?Marbury has taken off time missing 7-11 last games. New York’s record is 3-8 in the last 11 games. They currently have a record of 8-19 last place in the NBA’s Atlantic Division 15 games behind the Division leading Boston Celtics.
