The San Antonio Spurs announced on Thursday that veteran Brent Barry will miss the next 10-14 days recovering from an injury in his left calf. A MRI taken Thursday revealed that the guard in his 13th season in the NBA tore the plantaris muscle in his left calf during San Antonio’s win over the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night. Barry who will turn 36 on December 31, is now in his fourth season for the Spurs, where he has been a weapon as an outside shooter coming off the bench. Barry originally played for the Los Angeles Clippers, he also played for Chicago, and Seattle before coming to the Spurs.
