Grizzlies’ Conley Almost Ready For Action

????????????? Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley?

For once, some good news came the Memphis Grizzlies’ direction; Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports that rookie point guard Mike Conley participated in the team’s full-contact practice Tuesday; this means that his return to action is inevitable.? Team doctors will want to see how his shoulder hold up to physical punishment, and Conley will probably need a few practices to see how his conditioning is.

Conley has been out since November 18; he was out with what is described as a posterior labral tear in his right shoulder.? He suffered the injury on November 17 when he fell just before halftime during a game at Dallas.? Prior to the injury, he was averaging 5.6 PPG and led all rookies with 4.2 APG in 14.4 minutes per game.? While it is great news for the Grizzlies to get Conley back, it can only make things a tad uncomfortable for guards Kyle Lowry and Damon Stoudemire.
