Kobe Bryant scored 31 points, 7 assists, 4 steals, 4 rebounds, and didn’t even play in the fourth quarter as the Los Angeles Lakers beat up the Utah Jazz 123-109 Friday night. Bryant led six Los Angeles players in double figures. The Jazz tried to mount a comeback in the final quarter but had dug themselves into too deep a hole.?Carlos Boozer led Utah with a double-double?20 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals in the loss.

Los Angeles was on fire offensively in this game right?from the jump. They shot 54.4% from the floor for the game, and 57.9% from three point range. The Lakers scored 75 points in the first half. They scored 123 points despite scoring only 17 points in the final quarter, that’s so hot your hands will be covered in blisters!?

The Lakers jumped out in the first quarter to a 15 point lead, 38-23 at the end of the period, they led 75-48 at the end of the first half. They led 106-74 at the end of three quarters, and Utah had to outscore the Lakers 35-17 to get to within 14 point at the end of the game.

Bryant truly had a brilliant game, he shot 11-18 from the field, 6-9 from outside the arc, and 3-4 at the line. Lamar Odom scored 17 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, Jordan Farmar scored 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, Trevor Ariza had 12 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block. Another nice game from Andrew Bynum 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 block, and Derek Fisher also scored 10 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds.

Boozer shot 6-15 from the floor, 8-10 from the line, for his team high 20 points, Ronnie Brewer scored 18 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist. C.J. Miles also scored 18 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, Ronnie Price scored 16 points, 3?assists, 3 steals. The Lakers who got coach Phil Jackson his 938th career regular season?victory, tying him for seventh place with the Late Great Red Auerbach, are now 19-10, Utah falls to 16-15.
