IndyStar.com reported Sunday morning that Indiana Pacers starting point guard Jamaal Tinsley will miss at least the next week, and possibly more time than that, as he recovers from from an injury to his left hamstring. Tinsley has played the last five games with the injury, and Pacers coach Jim O’Brien says it has effected Tinsley’s play. It is expected that Andre Owens will start at the point for the ailing Tinsley while Marquis?Daniels will be the primary backup. Tinsley is in his seventh NBA season all with the Pacers. Indiana currently finds themselves in second place in the NBA Central Division, with a record of 15-16, 8.5 games behind the Division leading Detroit Pistons. The Pacers have lost their last 3 games.
