Inside Bay Area .Com” reported Tuesday that Golden State Warriors reserve guard Troy Hudson could miss the rest of the season, after having upcoming surgery. According to the report, Hudson is scheduled to have an arthroscopic procedure to take care of a tear in the labrum of his left hip. An exact date and surgeon to perform the surgery have yet to be chosen. Hudson told the reporter that the recovery time is usually 3-4 months, which would target Hudson’s return around the beginning to the middle of April, just as the regular season is wrapping up. Hudson said that his initial talks with doctors involved a a far more complicated procedure, in which recovery time would be 12-18 months. Hudson is relieved that he will not be away from the game that long. The backup point guard signed during the off-season with the Warriors to play behind Baron Davis.?Hudson who will be 32 in March, is now in his eleventh season in the NBA, he previously played for Utah, the Clippers, Orlando, and Minnesota.
