Odom Suspended By NBA For Flagrant Foul On Allen

The NBA announced Tuesday that they are suspending Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom for one game for committing a Flagrant Foul against Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen Sunday night. NBA Vice President of Basketball Operations Stu Jackson announced that Odom committed a Flagrant Foul Two on Allen, when he body slammed the Celtics guard knocking him to the ground with less than 3:00 left in the game, Boston won the game in a rout 110-91. Odom will miss the contest against the Philadelphia 76ers January 4, and will be docked the game’s pay. Odom is playing in his ninth NBA campaign, he has been with the Lakers since the 2004-2005 season.
