Lakers Mihm To Miss The Next 3-4 Weeks

“The Los Angeles Times” reported Thursday that Los Angeles Lakers?veteran backup center Chris Mihm will be out for the next 3-4 weeks due to pain in his right Achilles heel. Mihm has been in pain for quite a while, but played through the pain as fellow backup center Kwame Brown was on the injured list. Mihm said that he has been trying to avoid taking time off, but now that Brown is back he allowed the team’s medical staff to convince him to do so. Mihm will undergo sonar treatments on a weekly basis to help heal his heel. Mihm signed a two?year contract during the?off-season to stay with Los Angeles, he was originally signed by the Cavaliers, and then traded to Boston.
