Nets Push Back Move To Brooklyn
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The Associated Press reported Thursday, that the New Jersey Nets will remain in New Jersey longer than they had originally planned to. The team’s new facility located in Brooklyn, New York, was originally expected to be ready for the start of the 2009-2010 campaign. However the team has found out it will not be ready for occupancy at least until part way throughout the season. The Nets may play the whole season in New Jersey, or may possibly switch facilities in the middle of that season. Ground still has not been broken for the Nets new arena which will be known as the “Barclays Center.”
