The NBA announced Friday that New York Knicks forward Zack Randolph will be suspended for one game for an incident that took place on January 2, in a loss to the Sacramento Kings. Randolph was ejected from that game in the third period, with less than 2:00 left in the quarter. Randolph allowed himself to get caught up in the moment, and expressed his frustration by taking off his headband, and throwing it at a referee. The headband found it’s target, and Randolph was immediately ejected from the contest. Randolph, who came to the Knicks in a trade from the Portland TrailBlazers on Draft night, will serve the suspension Friday as New York faces the San Antonio Spurs.
