AK-47 Not With Jazz In Portland

The Salt Lake Tribune reported Saturday that Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko did not make the trip to Portland with the team and will not play Saturday night as the Jazz play the TrailBlazers. Kirilenko?wrenched his?back Thursday during practice, and is now suffering from lower back inflammation. Kirilenko has played well against the TrailBlazers this season averaging 11.0 points, 6 .7 boards per game in?their three previous?contests. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan did not reveal who would be taking AK-47’s spot?in the starting lineup, newly acquired Kyle Korver could fill the role.?
