LeBron James scored a game high 39 points, 24 of which came in the decisive fourth quarter as the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied from a huge deficit to overtake the Toronto Raptors Sunday 93-90. The visiting Cavaliers trailed Toronto 70-57 at the end of the third quarter but were able to ride their hot superstar over the victory line. The win gets Cleveland back to .500 as they have won 5-6.

Toronto came out strong, and Cleveland came out lethargic in the first quarter, as the Raptors had a 28-14 lead at the end of the first period, and led 43-33 at the end of the half. Cleveland finding themselves on the southern half of a 70-57 score going into the final quarter, in a hostile environment could have easily packed it in. But LBJ would not allow that to happen. He came out scorching sinking a layup, one at the line, and 2 treys before the quarter was 3:00 old. Damon Jones then hit 2 three pointers as well, and then James tied the game at 76-76 as he hit a “J” at the 6:26 mark.?Cleveland took the lead at less than 4 minutes left in the game when James again hit a pair of three point shots. Toronto tied the game at 84-84,?but LBJ scoring 2 on a drive to the basket and a trey by Daniel Gibson gave Cleveland the lead, and the Cavaliers held on for the win.

James shot 14-29 from the floor, 4-8 from outside the arc, and 7-12 at the line,?for his game high 39 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists. Larry Hughes scored 14 points, 3 steals, 3 rebounds, and Drew Gooden also?had a double-double, 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block. Anderson Varejao scored?only 4 points, but had a game high 13 rebounds, and 2 assists, coming off the bench for Cleveland.

Toronto was led by Chris Bosh who shot 9-11 from the floor, 5-6 from the line, for a team high 23 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.?Anthony Parker scored 20 points, grabbed 9 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals, Jose Calderon had a double-double, 16 points, a game high 11 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals. Jamario Moon also scored 16 points for the Raptors, 7 rebounds, 3 blocked shots. Both teams after the game have identical records of 17-17.
