LeBron James scored 22 points, as he led the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday night to an easy home victory over the sloppy Seattle SuperSonics 95-79. That’s right sloppy, or I guess you could say undisciplined as Seattle kept shooting themselves in the foot all?night as they created 23 turnovers, and Cleveland took full advantage of the mistakes, scoring 28 points off the SuperSonics miscues. Although Seattle rookie Kevin Durant led all scorers with 24 points, mistakes like that will cost you a game more often than not.

It also did not help things that Seattle could not get at all in sync offensively in the first half, Cleveland grabbed a 24-15 lead at the end of the first quarter, and were up 45-33 at the half. Although Seattle started shooting better in the second half they were never really a factor in the game as the Cavaliers had a 74-56 lead at the end of the third quarter and the lead remained in double digits throughout the final period.

LBJ shot 8-18 from the floor and a rare perfect night at the line going 6-6 for his 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals. Daniel Gibson had a good game off the bench as he hit 5 treys, scoring 17 points, 3 steals, 2 assists, 1 rebound, Anderson Varejao scored 14 points off the bench, 9 rebounds, 1 steal. Sasha Pavlovic scored 13 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block,1 rebound.

Durant looked like a veteran at times on the floor as he shot 10-20 from the floor, 1-3 from outside the arc, and 3-3 at the line for 24 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block, 1 assist. Wally Szczerbiak was the only other Sonics player in double figures as he came off the bench to score 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, in the loss. Cleveland wins their fourth? game in a row to pull above the .500 mark at 18-17,? Seattle is now 9-25.
