The Arizona Republic Thursday reported that Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash did not travel to Utah with the team and will not play in Thursday night’s contest against the Utah Jazz. Nash is suffering from the flu, he had to leave the game Wednesday night because of not feeling well. He ended up at the hospital at midnight receiving an IV to replenish fluids. The Suns were already without starting forward Grant Hill who is recovering from an appendectomy, and Shawn Marion is questionable because of a bruised right shoulder and elbow. Rookie D.J. Strawberry who had been playing in the NBDL has been activated and will meet the team in Utah. The game is the second game of a Nationally televised double-header on TNT.
