Martin Expected Back Saturday for Sacramento

The “Sacramento Bee” reported Saturday Sacramento Kings?guard Kevin Martin is expected to be activated by the team before Saturday night’s contest against the Indiana Pacers. Martin in his fourth year in the Association has been out of action?since December 4,?after straining his groin. Martin who averaged 24.5 points a game in 17 games this season will come off the bench as coach Reggie Theus does not want to rush Martin’s return, for fear of re-injuring himself. Martin has been with Sacramento since coming into the NBA in the 2004-2005 campaign. Last season was a breakout year for the former West Carolina player as he averaged 20.2, 4.3 boards, in 80 games.
