Monta Zooms Warriors Past Grizzlies 116-104

Monta Ellis scored a team high 27 points, and the Golden State Warriors shot 51.6% from the floor for the game as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies Friday 116-104. Baron Davis had a double-double for the Warriors, 20 points, and a game and career high 19 assists. Memphis lost despite a monster game from Pau Gasol who scored a season high 43 points, 11 boards, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 steal.
Golden State scored the first ten points of the game and never looked back, the closest Memphis would ever get would be 5 points, as the Warriors just dominated. Warriors had a 33-24 lead at the end of the?first quarter, and were up 67-54 at the half. They had a 20 point lead at the end of the third quarter 99-79, the fourth quarter was extended garbage time.
Ellis shot 12-15 from the floor 3-3 from the line for his 27 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 block. Stephen Jackson had another good game 22 points,? 4 assists,?2 steals, 2 rebounds, 1 block, Davis along with his 20 points, 19 assists, had 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals. Al Harrington had 19 points, 9 boards,2 assists, 1 steal.
Gasol?shot 17-25 from the floor 9-12 from the line, one point short of his career high. Juan Carlos?Navarro another good game off the bench 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, Rudy Gay scored 10 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 1 block. Hakim Warrick scored 10 points coming off the bench, 5?rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal?. Golden State is now 21-16, Memphis is 10-26.
