Webber Says He Will Be Back In NBA In Two Weeks

The “Detroit Free Press” reported Monday, that veteran NBA free agent Chris Webber told a Sacramento, California TV station he would be back in the Association in two weeks. Webber however did not say who he would be playing for to KXTV in Sacramento. He said in the interview that he has narrowed his choice down to 3 teams, Webber finished his 15th NBA campaign last year with the Detroit Pistons. He has not played at all this season. During the off-season his name was mentioned as a candidate for a position with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland at the time did not know if restricted free agent Anderson Varejao would be back. He ended up back with Cleveland after they matched an offer sheet he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats.
