The Leprechaun has been looking very weary this last week. No longer are his fists cocked ready to scrap with a scowl on his face. Now his hands are raised palms out as if to say “No Mas” his expression haggard, his hat almost falling off. You had to know that the Green Team could not keep up at the historic pace they were playing at, but the drop off has been drastic.

Neither team had an easy time getting out of the gate Monday as the first quarter ended with the two teams tied at an anemic 18-18 score. Washington was even worse in the second quarter, and Boston was not much better as the two teams went to their respective locker rooms at the half, with the Celtics barely leading 37-35. The two opponents looked?like they had awoken from their comas, in the third quarter as Boston led 63-59. Caron Butler took over in the final period, as he scored 9?points in the period keying a 25-6 Washington deluge. When? it was?over the Celtics looked punch drunk, ending up losing their second game in a row to Washington.
