Rondo Unlikely To Play Friday

The Boston Celtics website reported that Celtics starting point guard Rajon Rondo did not practice with the team on Thursday and is considered unlikely to play Friday night as Boston takes on the Philadelphia 76ers. Rondo did not play in Wednesday night’s win over the Portland Trail?Blazers 100-90, Eddie House started instead. Rondo has a strained lower back and Boston coach Doc Rivers does not want to rush him back. Rondo is in his second year in the Association both with Boston.
