Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The NBA announced on Sunday that Atlanta Hawks guard Anthony Johnson will be supended without pay for the Hawks game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Association Executive Vice-President Stu Jackson issued a statement Sunday saying that the veteran guard was being suspended for committing a Flagrant Foul Penalty Two in Friday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors. Johnson was ejected from the game during the second quarter after hitting Jose Calderon in the back of the head as the Raptors would win the contest 89-78. Although Calderon was visibly shaken up he remained in the game.
