Lakers’ Ariza Breaks Foot

The Los Angeles took another unneeded hit to their front line; on Sunday, forward Trevor Ariza during practice broke a bone in his right foot. Ariza will see a specialist to determine the severity of the injury place a return to the Lakers’ lineup. Out of necessity more than anything else, the Lakers will probably increase the playing time for Kwame Brown, starting with Monday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. Ariza, prior to the injury, was averaging in 35 games 5.5 PPG and 3.1 RPG.
