Wallace Could Be Out As Bobcats Face Mavericks

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that last week’s NBA Eastern Conference Player Of The Week Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace could be on the shelf for Wednesday night’s match-up against the Dallas Mavericks. Wallace strained his left calf muscle in a win against the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night, and then exacerbated the situation in Monday night’s loss to San Antonio. Wallace was taken out of the game in the fourth quarter due to the injury. He will not participate in the Wednesday morning shoot around, and will be a game time decision on whether he will play or not. Wallace and the Bobcats, had a 3-1 record last week.
