The Sacramento Kings may or may not have gotten their core starters back at the right time, in light of where the season is.? Regardless, they started their normal starting lineup Tuesday against the New Jersey Nets.? And the results were promising.? Three of their starters, Ron Artest, Kevin Martin and Mike Bibby, combined for 61 points as the Kings cruised to their third straight win, 129-94 over the Nets at Arco Arena.

To illustrate how dominant the Kings were, Bibby, Martin and Artest combined to score the team’s first 19 points, helping Sacramento take a 10-point lead just before the midway point of the first quarter.? The rest of the team took their cue and helped the Kings - with the help of 9 three-pointers in the first half - bumrush their way to a 64-47 lead at halftime.? To further bury the Nets, Sacramento would start a 15-3 run to build their already insurmountable lead to 29 before both teams broght in the reserves for their garbage time.

Sacramento shot 57.5% from the field, made 15-of-24 from beyond the 3-point arc (62.5%) and missed only 3 free throws (21-of-24, 87.5%).? The Nets didn’t shoot badly, but it was just a matter of the Kings making their shots at a ridiculous pace.? Sacramento had 7 players in double-digits, led by Artest with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists; Martin scored 19 with 7 boards and 3 assists, while Bibby added?15 with 3 rebounds and 7 assists.? Brad Miller and reserve guard Beno Udrih?chipped in with 14 each - with Miller also grabbing 7 boards and dishing out 8 assists.

New Jersey was led by Vince Carter with 21 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists, while Richard Jefferson added 18; Malik?Allen?scored 14 in a losing effort.? Sacramento (18-22) travels to Los Angeles to face the Clippers at Staples Center Wednesday, while New Jersey (18-23) takes the very short journey west to Oakland to take on the Golden State?Warriors at Oracle Arena Thursday.
