Z Breaks Wizards Spell Cleveland Slams Washington 121-85

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had a perfect night shooting from the floor, going 10-10, and scoring a game high 24 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat up the Washington Wizards Wednesday night 121-85. LeBron James scored 23 points, Drew Gooden recorded a double-double with 18 points, and 10 rebounds. Cleveland finally is starting to resemble the team that went to the NBA Finals last year, as they have now won 5 straight games, their longest winning streak of the season, and 11-13. The Cavaliers shot a blistering 56.9% from the floor for the game 47-83 as they dominated from the jump.
Cleveland broke out to a 34-26 lead in the first quarter, and led 52-46 as the two teams went to their respective locker rooms at the half. The Cavaliers had their most prolific scoring quarter of the season in the third, as they outscored the Wizards 43-17, leading 95-63. Even with most of their frontline players on the bench for the fourth quarter, they still outscored the Wizards 26-22 for the final tally.
Z’s only miss was at the line as he went 4-5, along with his 24 points, he had 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks. LBJ along with his 23 points, had 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, Gooden besides having?18 points, 10 boards, had 1 assist. Devin Brown came off the bench scoring 15 points, 2 rebounds,? block, 1 assist,?Sasha Pavlovic scored 13 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds.
Wizards center Brendan Haywood led the anemic Washington attack, as he shot 4-9 from the floor, 3-3 from the line for 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block, 1 assist. Caron Butler scored 10 points, 5 rebounds,?1 assist, Antawn Jamison scored 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal. Roger Mason came off the bench and scored (you guessed it) 10?points, 1 rebound, 1 block, 1 assist. Cleveland is now 23-18, Washington is 22-18.
