Suns May Hold Out Door Preseason Game

The “Arizona Republic“?reported Friday that the Phoenix Suns are exploring the possibility of holding an outdoor preseason game?later this calender year. According to the report the Suns have been in talks with Indian Wells?Tennis Garden, which is outside of Palm Springs, California. The paper says that Suns CEO? and team president Rick Welts has led the negotiations, and that there is now a basketball court in place. The report also states that?Suns General Manager Steve Kerr has been to the facility to check it out, an announcement could be made within the next month. There has been no mention of an opponent, I personally would love to see the contest involve the New Orleans Hornets. Can you just picture Steve Nash, and Chris Paul on an outdoor court, it could be the worlds greatest “StreetBall Game“? that has ever been?played. Welts was quoted as saying?”It’s a completely unique experience. We like to do new and exciting things. I think it would be remarkably successful. It’s going to be incredibly cool.” Rick I totally agree!
