As of late, it seems like the ankle is the body part of choice to get injured.  Add yet another casualty to that list; Dallas Mavericks point guard Devin Harris will miss at least Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a sprained left ankle.  He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets and will undergo an MRI Monday (today); according to the Dallas Morning News, Harris left the American Airlines Center on crutches and wearing a boot-like cast.  Harris told the Morning News, “It’s a bad sprain.  We’ll know more when I get it re-evaluated.”

Harris suffered a similar ankle injury gainst the Los Angeles Lakers Friday but it didn’t affect his overall play; he re-injured the ankle with 8:11 left in Sunday’s game, when he fell into a pool of photographers after completing a layup.  Prior to his most recent injury, Harris was averaging 14.4 PPG and 5.3 RPG in 39 games played this season.
