Turkoglu, Jefferson Honored By NBA

According to SportsTicker, Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu and Minnesota Timberwolves forward Al Jefferson were selected as Players of the Week for their respective conferences on Monday. Turkoglu, selected for the Eastern Conference honor, averaged 25.5 PPG, capped by a 3-pointer he made at the buzzer, giving Orlando the win over the Boston Celtics. The Magic went 3-1 that week.
Jefferson received the honors for the Western Confference; he led the Timberwolves to a 3-1 record, averaging 28.8 PPG and 12.8 RPG while recording 3 double-doubles during that stretch, his high game took place against the New Jersey Nets last Sunday as he scored 40 points and 19 rebounds.
