????????????????????????????????????Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu (#15) makes a shot over Miami Heat center Earl Barron (#30), during the second half of their game, played Wednesday night. Turkoglu scored 26 points, leading Orlando to the win over Miami, 107-91.?

One would think that the final margin suggests that the game between the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic Wednesday was a massacre; actually, it didn’t quite turn out that way.? It took a late 12-point run late by Orlando which made it possible for the Magic to pull away from the Heat, 107-91, at Orlando.

For the second consecutive game, Miami got off to a cold start – starting out 1-of-9; but Luke Jackson made a 3-pointer late in the first period to tie the game at 20 and Jason Williams made 2 free throws 28 seconds later, giving the Heat its first lead.? But Orlando would rally back quickly as Carlos Arroyo’s jumper with 6:50 left in the first half gave the Magic its first double-digit lead, 44-34, and the margin would increase to 13 later in the second quarter before they settled for an 11-point cushion at halftime.

Miami got to within 76-71 with 4:20 left in the third quarter when Dorell Wright made an easy layup; but Hedo Turkoglu scored the Magic’s next 6 points as they took an 83-76 lead into the fourth quarter.? The Heat’s Daequan Cook made a jumper with 11 minutes to go in the game, drawing Miami to within 83-80; but unfortunately for the Heat, Orlando went on an 18-1 which iced the game for the Magic.? Orlando’s leading scorer was Turkoglu with a solid game, scoring 27 points, while grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists; Rashard Lewis added 19 with 8 rebounds, while Dwight Howard chipped in with 16 along with 13 boards and 4 blocked shots.

Miami was led by Ricky Davis with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, while Jackson and reserve Chris Quinn added 14 each – Jackson also made 3 treys – in a losing effort.? Orlando (29-18) travels to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers Friday night, while Miami (9-35) returns home to host the New Jersey Nets – also on Friday.
