Ford To Rejoin Raptors Tonight

In a bit of good news for the Toronto Raptors, according to Steve Buffery of the Toronto Sun reports that point guard T.J. Ford will rejoin the team tonight and take part in a light practice with the team tomorrow.? Ford will be in street clothes tonight when the Raptors host the Los Angeles Lakers, and coach Sam Mitchell said that he will not rush Ford back to the lineup until he is absolutely ready - which could be anywhere from one to 2 weeks.

Ford has spent the last 2 weeks in Houston training with former NBA player John Lucas, whilw recovering from an arm and back injury related to a condition called “spinal stenosis”; Mitchell has also said that when Ford is ready to return, he will come off the bench for the indefinite future.
