The Sacramento Kings are a totally different team ever since Ron Artest, Kevin Martin and Mike Bibby returned to the rotation.? The Chicago Bulls could perhaps learn something from the Kings about cohesiveness and just maybe some teamwork.? Artest and Martin combined for 54 points, leading the Kings to a 105-101 win over the Bulls at Arco Arena Saturday.

Both teams shot well in the first period, with Chicago taking a 33-31 lead going into the second period; but the Kings’ Martin and Artest were hot during the first half - Martin had 17 first-half points while Artest had 16 - as Sacramento used an 11-0 run to take a 63-60 lead into halftime.? Holding on to a one-point lead going into the fourth quarter, the Kings fell behind several times, the last time when the Bulls’ Ben Gordon drained a 3-pointer for a 95-92 Chicago lead with 4:57 left in the game.

But Sacramento rallied quickly?with 9 straight points, including a jumper by Martin for a 98-95 Kings lead at the 3:34 mark; the Kings would hold on for the win as the Bulls made just 1 basket in the final 4:57 of the game.? Sacramento was led by Artest with 28 points - including 3 three-pointers, while Martin scored 26; Brad Miller had a excellent effort with a 20/20 game - 22 points, 20 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots.?

Chicago’s leading scorer was Gordon from off the bench with 33 points, including 3 treys; Kirk Hinrich scored 18 in a losing effort.? Sacramento (22-24) continues their homestand by hosting the Seattle SuperSonics Wednesday, while Chicago (18-28) travels to the Northwest to face the Seattle SuperSonics on Monday.
