Hawks Fly Back From First Quarter Deficit Sink Sixers 96-91

Josh Childress came off the bench and scored a team high 21 points, as the Atlanta Hawks came back from a huge first quarter deficit, and beat the Philadelphia 76ers Monday 96-91. Philadelphia, had a 32-14 lead in the first quarter but Atlanta outscored them in each subsequent quarter to win the game.
Atlanta, got themselves back in the game in the second quarter as they were able to cut the deficit to under 10 points, by the half as Philadelphia led 52-44. The Hawks took their first lead of the game at 67-65 with 1:31 left in the third quarter. The game went back and forth with Atlanta on top 72-70 at the end of the third quarter. The Hawks had the lead up?to 87-79 as Childress hit a bucket with 6:24 remaining in the fourth, but the?Sixers went on a 10-2 run to cut the lead to just 89-88. But Atlanta scored 5 unanswered points, to put the lead back up to 94-88. The Sixers never could get back after that.
Childress shot 9-11 from the floor, 3-4 from the line for his 21 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block.? Josh Smith just missed a triple double, 19 points, 9 assists, 9 blocks, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, Joe Johnson 18 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal. Tyrone Lue had 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists.
Philadelphia was led 12-18 from the floor, 5-6 from the line, for a game high 29 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals. Andre Iguodala had 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, Thaddeus Young, scored 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, Willie Green scored 10 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds. Atlanta with the win is now 20-24, the Sixers are 18-30.
