Hedo & Brad Miller Named NBA Players Of The Week

The NBA announced Monday that Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was named NBA Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference. ?Sacramento Kings center Brad Miller was given the honor in the Western Conference, for the period between Monday January 28, and Sunday February 3. Turkoglu was a big factor in Orlando going 3-0 last week, as he averaged 24.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists. Orlando with a mark of 31-18 are in first place in the NBA Southeast Division.

Miller, who in this NBA observer’s opinion, is one of the most underrated centers in the NBA, averaged double-doubles in all three game for the Kings last week, as they also went 3-0 during the week. Miller, was admitted twice last week the Association’s most exclusive club, “The 20-20 Club” as he scored 20 points, and grabbed 20 boards in 2 games?for Sacramento. Miller is only the second player in King’s history to record the feat more than once, Golden State Warriors Chris Webber?did it?five times with Sacramento.
