Just when you thought the skies could not get any darker for the Miami Heat, they have turned a shade close to ebony. The latest round of bad news comes courtesy of the “Miami Herald” as they reported Monday that the Heat may be incredibly short handed for their contest Monday night against the Toronto Raptors. According to the reports the Heat could be without outside shooting threat Luke Jackson, who is down with the flu, and backup center Joel Anthony who has a quad injury. Miami is already without center Shaquille O’Neal who has been out with a bruised left hip, and Udonis Haslem who has a sprained left ankle. Haslem was at the Heat practice Sunday wearing a walking boot, coach Pat Riley said he could be out until after the All-Star break. Miami has a record of 9-36.
