Crawford Says Talk Of Trade Is Crazy Talk

The “New York Daily News” reported Tuesday that New York Knicks guard Jamal Crawford is vehemently denying reports emanating from Seattle that he wants to be traded. The “Seattle Times” website stated that after Saturday night’s loss to the SuperSonics, Crawford expressed a desire to be traded. Crawford states that he never made those comments, the Seattle reporter who wrote the piece, Percy Allen has known the Knicks guard for years. Crawford also denied that he said he would like to play for Seattle one day, stating that Seattle may not even have a NBA franchise next year. Sonics owner Clay Bennett, is trying to move the team to Oklahoma.
