USA Today” reported Tuesday that Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd stayed in Milwaukee, while the team went on a two game road trip. The Bucks will travel to Memphis to play the Grizzlies Tuesday night, and then move on to Dallas where they will play Wednesday night against the Mavericks. The “New York Daily News” reported Tuesday that New York Knicks guard Jamal Crawford is vehemently denying reports emanating from Seattle that he wants to be traded. The “Seattle Times” website stated that after Saturday night’s loss to the SuperSonics, Crawford expressed a desire to be traded. Crawford states that he never made those comments, the Seattle reporter who wrote the piece, Percy Allen has known the Knicks guard for years. Crawford also denied that he said he would like to play for Seattle one day, stating that Seattle may not even have a NBA franchise next year. Sonics owner Clay Bennett, is trying to move the team to Oklahoma.

Overtime was hard-fought, as well, but a jumper by Denver’s Allen Iverson with less than a second left, giving the Nuggets a 105-103 win over the Trail Blazers Monday night at the Rose Garden.

The Blazers got off to a slow start and couldn’t make a shot from the floor until Channing Frye’s jumper with 4:45 left in the first quarter; Denver’s Anthony Carter made a layup, giving the Nuggets a 33-17 lead.? But Portland would go on a 16-3 run, capped by Steve Blake’s 3-pointer to cut the Nuggets’ lead to 40-36 in the second quarter.? Denver would go into halftime with a 50-44 lead.

Both teams shot well in the third period, as they went into the fourth quarter knotted at 78.? Denver’s Iverson made a jumper to give the Nuggets an 82-81 edge in the fourth quarter; J.R. Smith added a trey and Linas Kleiza’s dunk extended their lead to 6.? Portland would regain the lead on Jarrett Jack’s layup and free throw made it 90-89.? Leandro Barbosa scored a game high 30 points, and Raja Bell scored 24 points, including a season high 7 treys, and the Phoenix Suns had a big second half as they got past the Charlotte Bobcats Monday 118-104. Barbosa hit 5 treys, and Amare Stoudemire had a double-double while Steve Nash dished off a game high 11 assists.

Phoenix had a slim 31-28 lead at the end of the first quarter, the lead was still 3 points at the half as the Suns had a 54-51 advantage, at the end of the half. Phoenix however dominated in the second half as they grabbed an 87-74 lead by the end of the third quarter, and even though the Bobcats scored 30 points, in the final quarter, the Suns still gained a point to win by 14 points.
