Orlando coach Stan Van?Gundy?then proceeded to bring in the reserves; it worked well, as Keyon Dooling and Brian Cook led the Magic on an 18-7 run to tie the game at 22.? Cook scored 11 during the run, while?Dooling added 7.? New Jersey pushed the lead back to 8 when the Magic failed to score during the first 4:20 of the second quarter.?

Orlando had 6 players in double-digits, led by Howard with 21 points, 13 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots; Lewis and Turkoglu scored 19 apiece - Lewis drained 4 three-pointers and Turkoglu made 3 treys, while a trio of Magic players - Jameer Nelson, Cook and Dooling?- each chipped in with 11 each.

New Jersey was led by Vince Carter with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal; Jason Kidd and reserve Bostjan Nachbar scored 13 apiece, with Kidd also grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists.?
