New Reports Say Shaq To Suns Deal Is “Imminent”

The Associated Press reported late Tuesday night, that a “confidant” of Miami Heat center Shaquille O’Neal, told one of the news service reporter that O’Neal is “prepared” to be traded by the Miami Heat. The source who was granted anonymity, because they were not authorized to discuss the matter, said that a deal may be imminent. As we at Slam Dunk Central reported to you on Tuesday, the ?Miami Herald? reported Tuesday that there could be a trade in the works between the Miami Heat and the Phoenix Suns on the horizon. The paper is reporting a trade sending Shaquille O?Neal to Phoenix in exchange for forward Shawn Marion, and guard Marcus Banks. The paper states that a representative for O?Neal had been informed that talks were going on between the two teams and they were ?serious.? There have some reports that have O’Neal heading to Phoenix for a physical. Other reports say that the deal is contingent on the Suns saying yes to the deal.
