Tru-Warrior Says Kings Better Off Without Him

The “Sacramento Bee” reported Wednesday that Sacramento Kings forward Ron?Artest?not only thinks he will be gone by the February 21, deadline he thinks it is a good idea. The paper reported receiving an e-mail from the controversial player, stating that Artest would be a far better team with him playing anywhere else. Artest can become a free agent this Summer, but apparently he feels that he should be gotten out of Sacramento like on the next plane to any NBA City.

Artest said that he thought that he did not fit with the team, and he was making his coach Reggie Theus job tougher just by his being there. “Tru-Warrior” would not name any specifics of why he feels he is a?detriment to the team he just said it was personal. He also said that Francisco Garcia and John Salmons would play better if he were not on the team. No one from the Kings organization has offered any official comment on Artest’s statements.
