Wednesday night’s contest between the Seattle SuperSonics and Sacramento Kings produced one of the unlikeliest players to produce a triple-double: Seattle’s Earl Watson.? Watson’s 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists led the Sonics to a relatively easy win over the Kings at Arco Arena, 105-92.The first half was fairly close; Sacramento’s Ron Artest scored 13 first-quarter points, who went into halftime leading 49-48.? That’s when the Kings’ poor shooting kicked in; the third quarter proved fatal for the Kings as the Sonics went on a 14-4 run to start the third quarter and led 81-73 going into the fourth quarter.? Already ahead by 8 after three quarters, Seattle?scored the first 13 points of the fourth quarter to take a 21-point lead; Johan Petro scored 9 straight points in the run which helped the Sonics go ahead 94-73 with 8:06 remaining in the game - a lead Seattle kept for the duration of the contest.

Seattle was led by the aforementioned Watson with a triple-double, scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists; Kevin Durant scored 17 on 6-of-12 shooting with 3 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.? Chris Wilcox added 15 points, 10 rebounds and a blocked shot.? Saramento was led by Ron Artest who had a decent game, scoring 20 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals; Mikki Moore nearly recorded a double-double, adding 10 points and 9 boards.? Seattle (13-36) now travels to Phoenix to take on the Suns Friday night, while Sacramento (22-25) remains home to host the Utah Jazz - also on Friday.
